    Summary table assessment of twelve ICD9-CM (International Classification of Diseases, 9th Revision, Clinical Modification) diagnosis codes related to Ascension MCP including, “diffuse diseases of connective tissue” (ICD-9-CM Code 710), “sprain and strain of metacarpophalangeal of hand” (ICD-9-CM Code 842.12), “secondary localized osteoarthrosis involving hand” (ICD-9-CM Code 715.24), “localized osteoarthros not specified whether primary or secondary hand” (ICD-9-CM Code 715.34), “polyarticular juvenile rheumatoid arthritis chronic or unspecified” (ICD-9-CM Code 714.30), “polyarticular juvenile rheumatoid arthritis acute” (ICD-9-CM Code 714.31), “pauciarticular juvenile rheumatoid arthritis” (ICD-9-CM Code 714.32), “monoarticular juvenile rheumatoid arthritis” (ICD-9-CM Code 714.33), “osteoarthrosis unspecified whether generalized or localized hand” (ICD-9-CM Code 715.94), “generalized osteoarthrosis involving hand” (ICD-9-CM Code 715.04), “traumatic arthropathy, hand” (ICD-9-CM Code 716.14), and “primary localized osteoarthrosis involving hand” (ICD-9-CM Code 715.14) in the Mini-Sentinel Distributed Database. Results were generated using the Mini-Sentinel Distributed Query Tool and the ICD-9-CM Diagnosis Code Summary Tables. Summary tables are precompiled stratified counts.  Queries were executed in January 2013. This report includes data from 17 Data Partners. Queries were run in the outpatient setting.
