    Description

The objective of this project was to enhance the Sentinel Infrastructure to enable routine evaluation of medical product exposure during pregnancy and risk of adverse birth outcomes. To develop this capability, the workgroup was tasked with creating appropriate infrastructure to routinely 1) identify and link mothers and infants using health plan data at participating Data Partner sites; 2) capture linkage information in the Sentinel Common Data Model (SCDM); and 3) quality check the data to ensure fitness for use in Sentinel studies.
