    This analysis estimated the number of intrauterine systems (IUS) insertions, IUS removals, and oral contraceptives dispensings among women in the Sentinel Distributed Database (SDD). 

    • Report 1: includes data from commercial insurers and integrated care delivery systems participating in the SDD. The study period includes data from January 1, 2008 to April 30, 2019. We distributed this request to 16 Sentinel Data Partners on September 5, 2019.
    • Report 2: includes data from qualifying women enrolled in the Medicare fee-for-service program. The study period includes data from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2018. We distributed this request to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on September 5, 2019.
