Description

This report presents counts of nine generic names of obesity drugs contained in the National Drug Code (NDC) directory. Results include total and incident counts of dispensing of the selected drugs (generic names) among enrolled members in the Sentinel Distributed Database (SDD). Counts and incidence are calculated with 90-day, 180-day, and 270-day washout periods. Results are stratified by year.

The study period includes data from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2017. We distributed this request to 17 Sentinel Data Partners on May 15, 2019. This report includes data from 16 Sentinel Data Partners.
